The basic rules of life in 1984, a mantra to repeat to just get through the day. In 2025 they are what we push back against and build our communities to avoid. Instead of following the rules we RIOT! And it is time to show our PRIDE!

To see the world we RIOT against, you can come to Mosaics in person or get the book in our online shop! Every full-priced banned book (yes, 1984 is banned) we sell we get a banned or LGBTQ+ book out into circulation, especially in banned areas.

RIOT Pride 2025 is almost here! We have it all set and ready to go. Any donations we get will go to make it bigger and better, and anything we don't use will go into funding Mosaics events and UDA Grants.
